    RE: BB Gun parts

Hey, I know this one. The same thing happened to my Browning, except it was the little catch that engaged the cocking spring that sheared off. Sheer overuse killed it. 🙁
You could give Rebel Troop in Reading a ring (0118 950 9277). They’re a Marui importer, so they could advise or source spares for you. Website is http://www.rebeltroop.co.uk

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-07-02 AT 10:26 PM (GMT)]I must admit to feeling a certain, er, lack of urgency once I discovered that it was Lembit Opik MP who kicked off this media frenzy, and not NASA or the US State Department. Sorry, Mr. Opik; Your cause is just.

    RE: The Big ZAP!

Chill…. This is the General Discussion board. Surely we can talk absolute crap here, provided it doesn’t breach the regulations (and I don’t think there’s a clause in the user agreement to the effect of “only post stuff deemed generally interesting in the view of the forum community.” Maybe there should be, but there isn’t).
If a thread bores the pants off everybody, it vanishes off the bottom of the board main page. As will this thread. Problem solved.

Glad you’re okay; sounds like a lucky escape. I’m turning mine off by poking the power button with a stick from now on. 🙂

Woah! How did that happen? I want to know so I can stop my machine doing the same to me (‘cos it will if I give the shambolic bugger half a chance).
Obviously it’s good to hear that you weren’t deep-fried. Stay lucky, mate! 🙂

    RE: Here’s a funny thing…

Sorry I’ve been away for a while (the computer has had to be glued back together after its rattle came flying out of the pram) but…
Issue 210 of WAIF has arrived with the surprising news that this is not the last one after all; Issue 211 is on the way next week. Great! Goodness knows how many more are waiting in the wings – maybe another 210 of ’em? Hernia time…
Issue 211 has a gatefold of an XB-70, by the look of things. Mmmmm. 🙂

    RE: American Invation and Agression

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-06-02 AT 01:19 PM (GMT)]I hope it never goes beyond the discussion stages. At the same time the US is trying to maintain a NATO- and world-wide coallition against terrorism, it’d be setting up a contingency plan to (say) get a Marine Expeditionary Unit to hit the beach at Den Haag? That’d be bloody silly. Pardon my French.
