Are all 3 aircraft made going to be represented or are they doubling up G-ACSS??
Blimey yes you could be right, now that would be great 😀
which beach where??. theres plenty of recorded stuff that went down in the drink
ON NOW!!!!
Depends what your looking for. A book with lots of pictures? , tech stuff? (haynes do one yet?) or a war stories from the Guys who flew them?..
you could always buy one of my Pathfinder signed prints? 😉 . The pilot even has his own book out now “” J FOR JOHNNIE “” . FLT LT John Trotman DFC & bar. Woodfield publishing isbn 978-1-8468-3106-5.. £9.95. He`s still around and lives in Whitchurch Shropshire. You could have a signed book from him also.. One for the birthday boy and the other for a Crimbo prezzy.
tell me to shut up if you think im pushing it too much :diablo:
..
Thats a great shame to read. At least its undercover at the very least
Hampdens coming along slowly, seems as though they may leave the external resto until most of the inside is complete. its not hard to point the camera in that place without getting a half decent shot.. as you may tell i try to be a little more arty with my shots.
I never look where im going, i only look to see where my next picture is 😀
…
Great pics. Did you manage to see Lorelli, the Valetta, and what was the state of her?
Nope not a sign of anything larger than the big things already in there.. they were busy in the paint shop so not sure if it was hidden away in there for the week or down in one of the hangers just off the museum part??
Not a Macchi 2002 as you may be able just make out due to the fact its a Vespa.. My old bucket i painted up with a 2OO2 aircraft as inspiration. Cant remember the sqn though??
..
WELL DONE 😀
picture taken through the opening that they shoved the r/h gun barrel through in the nose turret
…
looks like the camera if you look at the trailing edge of the wing.. great shot of the Sabre. i find this one hard to get a good shot off becouse of the light coming though from behind
close but no prize yet!!
CAN ANYONE GUESS WHICH BIT THIS IS???
😉
Its funny that just about every one else that went has complained about over crowding. I went early and was there for about 10.30, wondered around and had plenty of time to have a gas with the staff n take pictures (obviously) before it started to get busy in there.. I cleared off into the other hangers then. Once again i had a good old chat to the staff and they let me wonder all over the place over the barriers and around the exhibits..
A CRACKING DAY ALL IN ALL 😀
