ive contacted them on how sure they are that it came from a Lanc, they said they had a top military expert advise them. not sure what they thought when i mentioned the 1942 issue??
technicaly it did enter service right at the end of 1941 though the chances of it being from a Lanc have got to be very remote

makes me laugh coz the Lancaster didnt enter service until 1942
you have to watch out for all those items listed as from WW2 Spitfire or Lancaster as most small parts like clocks, knobs n dials etc could fit most aircraft of that time period. everyone on ebay seems to think they were the only aircraft in the fight!!!!
