when you say old timers that could mean any sort of time length this day n age. theres so many places to stop off at in the internet world. theres about 5 websites i drift between (no rude ones lol) and depending what the subject is and what is being talked about dictates to me if i wish to take part. if you have the same people on all the time either the topics will run out or become repetative over time. fresh faces are a good thing and keeps you oldies up to date and “with it” lol.. to many things die out becouse there is a “click” of people that stick together and make it difficult for others to join in.

this is the only forum i have a natter on and share aviation related material but i can take it or leave it. if the weathers nice outside ide much rather grab at that. to be truthfull though my interests vary so much and it would do my head in to talk aviation 24/7. by going away from it and focusing on my restoration business or creating a new art work or perhaps walking up a mountain gives me a fresh pair of eyes. there has been a photography website (blipfoto) i joined but my interest wained in it. even though i had made contacts all over the world there didnt feel a connection other than them taking a nice pic now n then that i liked.

if the subject is locked in your heart then it will be a pashion that will never go away, sometimes though you need to go away and be given a chance to miss it. much like a relationship (says agony aunt Rob lol)

Herkybird going North over Shropshire. zooming in n out of the clouds about 1145am.

whats the pointy thing to the side of the nose?, i thought the refueling probe was mounted quite centrally above the cockpit.
