A bit of a bizzare and dramatic thing to do. If im watching the TV and i dont like the channel its on then i change the channel, I dont get a new TV!!!.
No one is forcing you to look at the posts or make a comment. Yes there are idiots in all walks of life and even i have my moments (quite often  ). Any other forum will have the same amount of idiots, so better the idiots you know etc blah blah etc.
I neither know or met most of the people on this forum but for the most part they have been a jolly good and helpfull bunch…. If you cant have a good “Hand bags at ten paces” now n then then life would be boring 😀

In 60 years time will these be dug up???
A whole bunch of F111`s going 6 foot under.
RIP 🙁
..
Wow thanks Steve. Thats real good to see. becouse as ive said there`s always variations on a theme, so to see an original artwork really does help. 😉
@Pistonrob, there are a total of 2 motors, not 4. The layout is the same as on the British Lightning (one on top and one on the bottom).
The biggest problem I see is the top scoop. It will have air separation problems in high-g maneuvers.
As far as TV, it might be better to merge the two exhausts into a single F-22 style nozzle or a single 3D nozzle. The problem with the current layout is that the lower nozzle cannot assist in pulling Gs since it cannot deflect upwards.
On the landing gear issue, the F-35’s mains are rear of the cg so I do not see this as an issue.
I see 4 intakes and 4 exhausts hence my assumption of 4 engines. 😉
Im afraid it gona be one of those “” Never made it off the Drawing Board”” jobs..
2 to many engines for a start. In cruise flight 2 engines would be effectivley be carrying the other 2 for no extra gain.. Working on the top 2 engines could be a pig. Bottom 2 engines slung too low and would basically act like hoovers from a FOD point.
The wing folding mechanics would add extra weight with the loss of extra fuel space or hardpoints
Undercarrage is set too far back and excess stress would be put on the nose leg. Moving the undecart forward and nearer the C/G would help but the nose leg would again be a problem with flicking up FOD and spray for the low slung engines.
I guess the overall handling would be like a winged brick as it look far too heavy with limited fuel space
I could go on if you like? 😀
That Snipe(?) undercart looks abit ropey or is that the wide angle playing?
Along with many other correct radio transmitted terms/words “”Finals”” cant be mistaken for another word when frequency/reception is poor.
As for where it came from? Gawd knows but the navy normally get in there first with where pilots sit and general approach of aircraft due to the position of the Island on the deck of a carrier.
I stand corrected but this is what the Swiss aircraft would look like 😀
Did they look like this…. The chem trail nuts on FB have been going crazy about them… In the real world Apparently they are 4 Gripens from the Swiss Air Force trotting along with a KC-10 Tanker. They left Mildenhall heading for Lajes earlier.. They have been around for a few days
Not so much a discovery!! As its a well known crash site and it doesn`t take much of a detective to work out where the wreckage is going to be. I looked for the engine about 20 years ago around that area but found nothing. Didnt go diving though!! 😀
There are variations on a theme but they seem to be similar
Thats what i wanted Chumpy many thanks.. Ive seen that coat of arms a few times but in random places. Should be set off nicely on the front of my legshields, Might even do it on the tool box lid also 😀 ..
One day i will get doen to the IOW rally in Aug as a mate of mine who goes down on his SX200 keeps pestering me to go with him (John Cartwright). Trouble is ive been going to a local vintage show with my old Matchless for the last 20 years and dont want to let go, if you know what i mean??
The BBMF Photo recon Spitfires have a wartime role, although a bit limited lol 😉
Nice work, PX200?
Cheers 😀 . Tis a PX166 Molosi motor hidden within a PX125
