These are five ex Egyptian Navy Sea King Mk.47s, which originally arrived in the UK in February 2004, as a spares source for the Royal Australian Navy [RAN].Having stripped them of the spares they required, the RAN then asked the RN how they could dispose of them. The simple answer was to keep them and use them at Sultan.
