An amazing landing too. touched down before Charlie One and exited there. Never saw a Dash 8 do that on runway 24 before.

Probably the great and the good of Scottish politics jetting in to hear Jack McConnell give a speech about this…;) 😮 😀

That was yesterday! Presumably the taxpayer will now have to foot the bill for expensive overnight hotels and
subsistence claims along with train fares and overtime payments? 😡

Does anyone know of a big event today at Edinburgh? I was at the airport early this morning braving the cold weather and found that about 5 business jets landed at EDI in abotu a 20 minute space. One plane (a Citation) landed and took off again within 10 minutes!

Great news for Delta.
Glad to see route proving itself to be popular.

Although, Continental should get a mention for having the guts to be the first to give it a go.
Did COA get any awards for their service? Its been running pretty much full since it started.

I think CO got some sort of recognition/award for their EDI
service, not sure which. They did of course win OAG airline
of the year award at some stage.
