[QUOTE=Silver Snapper]Excellent idea, a forum where we can discuss equipment, techniques, digital darkroom and much more…

Now anyone out there know where I can purchase a Vosonic X-Drive with a 20gb hdd for under £150?

Update on this: From info received I have just placed an order for a new Vosonic x-Drive with a 40gb hdd for £155 incl shipping (UK) supplier. 😎

It know the spot well. I am about to embarress myself here…..
My excuse is I had the sun in my face and it was VERY windy, and the camera’s crap. 😉 I suppose it will give a good comparison between good photographer, bad photographer and good camera, bad camera…. 😉

Not at all! I’m sure you will have the where-for-all one day
to return excellent pics…You certainly have the enthusiasm
and thats requisite number one! 😀

Anyone got any tips for shooting a rock gig ? Variable lighting levels moving artistes, need to make the colours look real and not looking too flash lit ?

Using Canon 10D various lenses. 😀

The Canon 28-135 and 70-300 image stabilised lenses should do the trick? 🙂

Well seeing as their won’t be a forum as such how about using this thread to discuss the matter ?

Why not? There are a lot of guys/gals out there who
need serious advice/comments on photo equipment.
    😎

I asked webbie today if we can have one of these as I know there’s lot’s of interest. I’m not a huge fan of the sub divided forums of late, but if there’s one that’s lacking then surely this is it ?

I know some of you guys have been suggesting the same, so if you still think it’s a good idea then let’s hear about it ? 😉

I have tried Ebay, the Germans are cheap but I don’t like
their payment methods, Australia is equally cheap but
the thought of 2 week delivery, £30 shipping and possible
duty/Vat charges rule them out. :p

Not all of them yet, but it won’t be long. They slowly increase their presence overnight at Prestwick.

Still waiting for the 1st. 738 to put in an appearance
    on DUB-EDI. 😮

Poor CJD I saw him sitting on the ramp in Dublin today looking all lonely.i love that one my little brother and sister 7 and 9 refer to it as the clown plane.

Good luck to them, don’t know where the money is coming from, but good luck to them…

Oil money! These airlines have little in the way of their
own countries pax catchment, they appear to be attempting to poach connecting pax from established airlines. Worrying enough for the established airlines to
cut fares from/to the Middle East.

Excellent photos – I love aircraft from the early jet era. Thanks for sharing these.

I recommend Steve Gaskell’s book “British Airways its History, Aircraft and Liveries”

Excellent pics! 🙂 Are the first 3 all from ‘Concorde day’? 🙂

No I was up in a field at Cammo on Concorde Day,
the taxi shots were from the days there were ‘holes’
    in the fence. 🙁

    Great pics, as usual! 🙂
There goes another full load of passengers on CO. 😀
88% loads for the very first half month of operations ever. Very impressive. 🙂
    Any more pics? 🙂

Those 752s seem to be using more runway on every flight.
    More pics…? I’ll trickle them through. 😀

just feel yourself lucky you get continentals, at NCL we’re lucky if we get a wideroe, although a qantas did land the other day.

I’m off to Cairns with Qantas in November! It’s
a flight operated by BA outbound and Qantas inbound,
the CNS-SIN legs are with Australian Airlines.

I’m connecting from EDI via LHR…

    Small mercies ? 😎

I remember that advert where they put the empty milk bottles outside the door!

To the sound of much merriment inside! 😎
