Love how the crew are kitted out as if they are about to go out for a sortie in a Tornado or equivalent fast fighter, but are infact only in a wee prop. 😀

From wee props fighters are born! 😎

Great pic! I remember I was at MAN for the 100 years of flight celebration and that exact plane was doing pleasure flights all day

Yep..that was the event… folk who managed to get seats
said it was worth every penny… they even got ‘wined’ in
the executive lounge before the flight.. 😉

A wider shot, showing perhaps the Newbridge approach and motorway, with the 757 nearing the threshold would have explained things pictorially and created a context for discussion.

I Was in a car park surrounded by fences an Porta Cabins.

The shot was taken at 200mm and tightly cropped, hence
    the ‘noise’

Here’s a overhead shot from the same location

Almost 8 million people a year actually! Have you ever driven down the M8?!
Your comment was rather needless, but nevermind….

Don’t be drawn RipConcorde…its disgraceful trolling. Something I thought this forum was beyond.. 😡

WOW! That BA is from your back garden! You don’t need to move from your house to spot! You lucky buggar! :

Thanks for the accolade LBA 😀

And Speedbird – Don’t start. Don’t let another thread with superb pictures turn into a GLA vs EDI debate, even though i’m sure that later GLAsgow will be on this thread agreeing with Speedbird 😡

The patting book of shame?

Did it again last month, second time to Tokyo in 6 months
    🙂

I enjoy flying with the Japanese… the flights are a bit like Takashi’s Castle, in the nicest possible way of course.

Fun loving people who are not afraid to express themselves….

Looking forward to my JAL flights in November. 😎

Who wants to fly from EDI, I would rather fly from GLA and get a wide body plane with PTVs.

    Troll alert…. 😡

Was that taken from your garden? Absolutely superb picture.

Ooops! The pic was taken close to Newbridge, west of EDI.
I was merely commenting on the altitude of aircraft at
    different distances from touchdown…

This one was taken from my garden.

High levels of sporting frustration obviously caused a massive failing in this lad’s ability to write and spell. 😀

    I thought it was Jon! :p :p
