I don’t think there are landing charges as such, just passenger charges, parking, jetways etc
According to BAA@EDI jetways/airbridges are not charge for..
all part of the overall charges.
Great pictures, ScotAir is best i think!
Happy birthday BTW! The Scotair was hanging around north of the field waiting for ‘gap’ hence the tight left base. 😀

Excellent pics, but where is the Scot Airways Dornier off to!? 😮 Looking a bit unstable.
It was on a tight left base approach to 06, the crosswind was
a tad oncomfortable to say the least.

Great shots Joe! 🙂
The BA RJ100 and the BE Dash-8 look fantastic 😀
Strange light during the RJ100 shot, the dash 8 was taking a beating from the wind but managed an even keel throughout the approach. 😀

Now now lads we don’t want this turning into a “GLA V EDI” thing so I’m sure Silver Snapper can and will clarify exactly what the charges are at each airport so that we can all be sure that it’s either a level playing field or it’s not? 🙂
Excuse me? Who said it was anything of the sort? I certainly did not mention any other airport.

You weren’t aware of the RDF that BAA have? Well you know now.
£100M at the last announcement.?

Excellent news. GSM seem to be going all out to knock CSA off the route. The prices are currently less than £60 return!
The flight is operating with a GSM flight code too. I presume this’ll be a route for the B736s?
Looks like it, I hope they continue the EDI-PRG route into the
winter months..plus I hope BAA give them the same winter discounts that are available elsewhere. 😮

I would expect GSM to do as well from EDI as they do from GLA on the PRG route – they continually get higher loads than CSA.
In the melting pot…GSM seem to be going for the leisure
market rather connections. I wish them well. 😀
