Well RYR are getting rid of their b732’s soon and replacing them with-800’s. The reason RYR don’t wash theyre planes is because they don;t have time. Sure down and up agin in 25 mins. hardly time for a wash!

A business plan: On stand taxi-through plane wash? 😮

I ask ye, if Ryanair are too cheap to even wash their planes… what else are they skimping on? food for thought

Nice pics! This could become a similar sight at EGAA if todays Irish News is to go by. Continental in talks about begining flights next year

I thought the recent mugging was at the East side?

It was on the Farm Track at Cammo yes…

The North side is even more remote… take the path east
at Boathouse Bridge and go some 100 yards for
excellent views. Meanwhile here’s another 757

The reflections can be troublesome at this time of year.

I should really go over to the North Side, but its too dangerous given the recent mugging.. 🙁

Both flights were full. Although EWR-EDI will have had a lot of press, representatives for CO etc on it.

The aircraft went on stand 2, I hate to think where they will
put the really big aircraft now that stand 6 is restricted. 🙁

Judging by the photo, it would seem the CO 757 only took about 100-200 feet more runway to get off the ground.

Plus CO took the full length…BA went from the intersection. 😉

BTW is that a departure shot? Looks like the flaps are not config properly… just looks like she has a high AOA. NIc shot though

At long last since they announced it, CO finally arrive at EDI tomorrow, due in a 08.30. Joe we’re counting on you to bring us back some good pics!

I dont like BAA airports really.
EDI is great though and is an exception!
LGW is OK but LHR is hell – especially T2.

I don’t like BAA – no surpises there! BAA boasted about LGW’s 2.9% growth but totally ignored EDI’s 3.8% growth
in their blurb… 🙁

Latest figures just released for May, EDI’s excellent growth continues and well done to STN, by BAA: :

EDI has been BAA Scotland’s top perfomer for 70 consecutive months.

A mere 500,500 pax separate it from year-round busiest
Scottish airport status… 🙂 🙂

Well I guess you have a point. But the first time I laid my beloved eyes on this picture I was amazed. Not many pictures have this affect on me. So I got to think to nominate this particular picture, picture of the month.

It was different… 🙂
