Tom,
Did you receive my e-mail this morning? I cc’d a number of experienced authors. And good to have a beer with you at The RAF Club in London last month.

You’re in for a treat. We have two very special books on the Hurricane in the pipeline as well as two on the wondrous Westland Whirlwind!
Am keen for titles on the Battle and Ar 234…

Many thanks for Steve for organising the most excellent and memorable event on Saturday for the launch of his book at The RAF Club. Not only was it great to finally meet Steve in person as well as the many guests and veterans, 120 copies were sold on the day!
With very best wishes,

And more good news is that Dave has been commissioned to write his third aviation memoir: Tornado F3 – A Navigator’s Eye on Britain’s Last Interceptor.
All very exciting and it is great to be working with Dave once more.

I just don’t get the time as I used to due to writing and editing. When it came to replacing my monster graphic card, I simply invested in a bog standard one for Word and Excel jobs and not be tempted to go for games/flight sims that eat too much time for me.
That said, they have to go!
Greetings,
As publisher/commissioning editor at Fonthill, I can say without hesitation that this book from Dave Gledhill is not just a superb aviation book, but is perhaps the very best book on the F-4 from a navigator’s perspective. Also, it was great to meet Dave at the book launch in London last month and I look forwards to working with him in the near future on a new title.
With very best wishes,
Dear All,
I look forwards to meeting Steve Brew and others at the book launch at The RAF Club. It promises to be an exciting event as well as promoting Blood, Sweat and Valour. Steve’s book is the last word on No. 41 Squadron and also confirms that Fonthill Media as a leading aviation/military/history publisher.
See you there!
With very best wishes,

Please note that I have left The History Press. They failed to embrace aviation as promised.
Therefore, I have joined Fonthill Media with the launch of definitive titles on the P-51 Mustang, Westland Whirlwind (both £25 HB) and Bismarck (£50).

I have a spare Saitek X-52 stick but without the throttle as I use it with my Sidewinder 2.
Just drop me a line.

I had this to review some time ago. It’s pretty eyeball candy and it’s infuriating that Cliffs over Dover could not better this or Rise of Flight for that matter. I found the whole thing to be… simplistic and unengaging. That said, I am used to hardcore sims such as IL-2 and would suggest that Wings of Prey is best suited to a sim newcomer, or better yet, the console player ala Hawx and so on.
I uninstalled it in quick succession and moved on. Did the same for Silent Hunter 5 and Cliffs over Dover. 😡
