Zelin – Ka-52 to be based on Mistral
Ka-52 to be based on Mistral
MOSCOW, August 14 – RIA Novosti. Ka-52 helicopters will be based on the ship type “Mistral”, which Russia plans to buy in France, said Saturday on the radio station Ekho Moskvy, Chief of the Air Force (Air Force), Colonel General Alexander Zelin.
“On the” Mistral “will be based our helicopters Ka-52”, – said Zelin.
Russia plans to buy in France four ships of type “Mistral”, two of which will be built in France, two more – in Russia.
Commander stressed that the Russian helicopters are the most advanced and not inferior to the best foreign models.
At the same time, Zelin expressed regret that the Russian drones do not meet the requirements of the Russian Air Force. “I would be glad to have purchased the drones from our firms, but, unfortunately, they do not meet the high standards in this area”, – said the commander in chief.
He suggested that in the future will be set up joint ventures for the production of drones, including those that were purchased in 2009 in Israel.
Is that a KAB-500KR on the wing station? The seeker section of the bomb looks somewhat strange.
Looks like a KAB-1500KR to me.
What I found interesting was the note that the Mig-35 was the worst performer.
Where did it say that?
That means inferior in avionics, stealth, SC capability. So far it looks as the machine is everything we have expected.
It doesn’t necessary mean that it is inferior in those areas. It could be evenly matched in avionics, stealth, SC capability. 😉
From Vzlet website :)( all credits to them , obviously)

( man i really have to get that magazine )
WOW, interesting layout. I wonder why the KAB-500 in on the innermost hardpoint and the drop tanks right next to it, instead of the other way around?
^^^ Probably a Mig-35 prototype that is taking part in MMRCA test.
961 and 967 has just 3 HP under each wing compared to the 5 HP under each wing we saw on Mig-35 model
961 and 967 have four hardpoints per wing, though in the previous pictures only three hardpoints were in use. Take a look at the photo mack8 posted.
Guns are jam proof and hence fail proof 😉
Not true, a Gun can jam. 😀
Nothing is 100% fail proof.
Thats why the Indian Navy is already asking for bids for new naval fighters, of which MiG is not invited.
The Indian Navy new fighter tender seems to have more to do with a getting CATOBAR aircraft more than anything else and according to a number of sources MiG was invited to participate in the tender.
Also the Indian Navy’s ordering of another 29 MiG-29K for their IAC seem to show they are satisfied with the plane.

:p
The wing seems to have a high swept, and what are these canards or big slats?
Any top view?

Will be shown here supposedly
