Mya M-200
Hope this helps with M-200
More UK Stealth work
Here are more Uk concepts including two BAe aircraft, followed by four HALO, and then a stealth APACHE. I got the last from a forum and can’t verify it is,in fact, a stealth APACHE!
Dassault stealth concepts
Here are a few Dassault stealth concepts:
First is Futur Avions Combat Enhancenent FACE..sorry for poor image.
Second is a notational conceptfor a UAV.
Third is artist drawing of Grand Duc.
Sabre Warrior
Picture from LTMAS site, and something that doesn’t specifically fit in UAVs–but will most certainly impact many weapons systems. If there is a better place for the latter, please move it for me.
Thanks for the correction aerospace. I should have known that. I believe HATOL stands for horizontal advanced takeoff and landing–but I’m not sure. If it does, then that describes most aircraft so it probably means more than that. Perhaps it means very short takeoff and landings using innovative design, but essentially in a horizontal plane instead of vertical???
The Boeing VFX looks like a good ID to me, especially since the photos don’t show a clear view of the intakes. Thanks aerospacetech and evereyone else for your help. Spectral, I’ll do some net surfing for AVE.
I think the consus so far is that pictures 5 and 6 are related to the TFX or VFX programs. The picture I have is larger and I believe there is a faint outline of a dorsal intake, but it’s hard to be certain. Does this help or does it just muddy the water?
I don’t know any more about the Dassault FACE except it was used as an example to illustrate Europe’s growing expertise in stealth. Also shown was a Dassault gull-wing UAV. I suspect these were notational, and misleading depictions, since we now know what Dassault was developing as UAV’s– definiteky not gull-wing.
Deino, look at the FI-X post. It’s the Japanese stealth you’ve been looking for.
Thanks for the help. I now have a better appreciation of what I have. Good eye SOC–I never thought of identifying the aircraft by the weaopns load. Here’s a couple more . The first I know from previous on this forum as the F-15U.The second was identified only as Dassault FACE–no other Information. Sorry about the poor quality, but a least you can tell the general design.
OOPS!! I forgot to put the firefly image in my post. I am red faced.
SOC,here is one that does relate to the XFV-12A. In response to a late 1960s Navy request for ideas for a VTOL attack aircraft, four teams came up with concepts:
The Navy Aviation Test Center at Patuxent proposed an A-4 derivative conceptually similar to the Yak-36 Forger.
The Naval Air Development Centerin Warminister Penn. proposed a larger aircraft, like the F-106, with four lift fans in the wings.
China Lake came up with the one pictured below.
Rockwell proposed the XVF-12A which was selected for further development.
In the picture below it’s difficult to see, but there is one lift jet in each wing.
I don’t know if the Concar 200/218 have any relationship with the XFV-12.
Correct! These are from the 1990-1991 time frame–I think! So it’s fairly old stuff.
Looks like it worked. Here are the words to go with the pic plus another pic.[IMG][IMG]
I tried a new post titled FI-S Japanese Stealth using Golden Dragon’s advice, but the file was 166kb and was rejected as too big, I’ll try to figure it out tomorrow. If I have to I’ll copy it at 50%,scan, and post. Sorry folks, especially you Deino!!
