Hopefully someone was down at the runway to get a few pictures of Sally B’s return to the air for this season – she’s just made about 8 low passes over Fulbourn in the direction of Duxford!
A few here to be going on with.

Duxford – Wednesday 4th May
Bulldog XX543/G-CBAB has been resident at Duxford for many years since being first registered to Propshop at Duxford back in 2001. With a change of ownership in progress according to G-INFO she departed this morning to Carlisle ( and perhaps beyond ). Seen below lifting off from what has been her home for the past 15 years.

With the arrival of a second Grumman Wildcat at Duxford today ( to join TFCs current example ) perhaps time to remember the only other example to visit DX in the preservation era.
N47201 was operated by TFC from 1982 to 1986 and is seen below in July 84 ( at Alconbury )

Re: PETER CHANNONS Australian attempt in G-ABTC CL.7 Comper Swift
I am presently searching for information / details of the sponsor inscriptions and motifs/logos applied to G-ABTC – the tail in particular. A high resolution photo would be a real help.
Known sponsors: Pentax, BA, Westward Airways, Airtour Elstree, Onata Dubai
I would appreciate any information.
Regards
Kelvin
A few pictures may help and be of interest.

Duxford – Wednesday 13th April.
A glorious sunny Spring Day at Duxford saw plenty of GA flying plus some of the locally based aircraft in action.
Warbird activity included the first flight of the year by the HAC Hurricane and Spitfire V which both flew on airtest followed by a practice display.
