Duxford Thursday 4th February. On passing a rather damp and dismal Duxford this morning the only activity noted was a hangar shuffle of the aircraft in H2N.
Most noteworthy outside was Tiger Moth G-AXAN which has been at Duxford for the past few months being prepared for its forthcoming flight to Australia.

Noted passing over Duxford twice today was the somewhat unusual and rare shape of a Dornier 28.

Lovely!
Forgive me if it was covered in the old thread – has the BoB film-schemed Buchon departed for New Zealand yet?
A container departed Duxford last week — whether it contained a Buchon will no doubt be discovered when it is opened the other end !

Rather low gear retraction, or is it not as low as it looks?
Reminds me of John Watts in Plane Sailing’s P-2, going back quite a few years….
It was ‘pretty low’ .
Thank you to the pilot of the twin seat Spitfre just now. No idea whose it was.
Impromptu aeros over Sacombe Village, something to brighten up my day.

If you type in Biggin Hill Corsair or Moving a Corsair from Biggin Hiĺl into YouTube you will find a film of the aircraft still in primer being transported out of Biggin Hill by road

Yes please Argonaut. Blackbushe pictures from the WoGB period are always fascinating to see. Many thanks.
Roobarb – Never one to miss a photo opportunity as you may know I just couldn’t resist stopping on the side of the A30 in June 1978 to photograph ‘Big Bad Bonnie ‘ in this pose !!!
