Before she entirely fades into the history of Duxford perhaps a final time to revisit her past history at DX with some pictures

DAS does what it can with the volunteer human resources it has at its disposal – mostly retirees. It is not the IWM. The red on the Trident wings and the BEA logos on fin and stairs were refreshed last year, as were the intake blanks. The ally was polished on the wings.
Last spring hundreds of pounds were spent on her professional washing and that will be done again this spring if budget is approved. This removes the algae buildup and last summer the white upper surface looked pretty good.
The Viscount did however look rather nice in the sun today after the rain finally stopped.

1995 I would guess. I think the scheme is for the TV series Over Here.
I have it recorded as Blue 8 around October 1995 as per picture below.

The movement of the F-15A yesterday reminds one it has been at Duxford already for some 14 years. Seen in the background of the attached picture at the time Bf109G Black 6 was coming to the end of its post accident rebuild on the 30 Oct 2001.

Noted visiting Duxford this morning was a Wildcat. Unfortunately not of the Grumman variety but an AW159 ZZ378 of the Royal Navy.
