DUXMAN
Once again thank you for your splendid photos, they really are much appreciated by folks who cant get there to see them themselves.
If you are passing the Britannia at any stage could you take a shot or two so I can see if she’s ok???
I am sure that can be managed !

Reported on other threads already but the Blenheim/Bolingbroke first flight after its restoration at Duxford late this afternoon needs to be recorded. A wonderful sight and sound again over the skies at Duxford as the sun set again provided some different if not difficult lighting shots. The team involved should be rightly proud of this achievement.

Question, the green container on the far side that gets in the way of shots from the tank bank, ive just noticed in the pics by Duxman that it looks burnt. I always thought it was storage or been dumped but now im wondering if its used for fire training, anyone know?
Yes
We’re there only two aircraft involved?
The resident Piper Cub and T.6 were also run but no time yesterday evening to sort out further images of those, the Spitfire and Hurricane or indeed the other inmates of the hangar.

Duxford Friday 14th November:
The A505 West of Duxford was still having problems mid-afternoon, I’d suggest a traffic check for weekend visitors.
The A505 past Duxford had reopened by late afternoon.
The setting sun produced some late afternoon photo opportunities helped by the smoke from the fire that caused the earlier traffic problems

I’m curious – did the occupants of the Staggerwing change seats whilst airborne?
Mike – it did another takeoff/landing after its initial return
