The oldest resident airworthy aircraft is B-17 Sally B (1975). Second place goes to Auster G-AGTO (1978). One contender for oldest IWM resident is Auster AOP.9 XP281 which arrived March 10th 1970.
A couple of pictures below of Auster XP281 at Duxford circa 1974/1975

Auster AOP9 XR269 was also present in late 1974. She was subsequently restored to flying condition as G-BDXY but was destroyed by fire following a forced landing on the 1/9/91

This very colourful Harvard spent a few hours with ARCo today. G-TXAN has spent some time based in Finland.
It spent some time of course at Duxford in the 1980s when marked as FX301 and registered G-JUDI. A few pictures of her arrival at Duxford today below.

Just a reminder that her actual first flight this year was on the 26/3 from runway 06 at Duxford ( rather than runway 24 that may have been suggested by the programme film ).

Noted parked out today with covers on at a decidedly gloomy Duxford was Yak C.11 White 1. in Polish Air Force markings. The camouflage scheme it carries seems to equate to G-BZMY although this is still showing on G-INFO as with Russian marks.
