Very nice pictures Duxman. I should have been there but a X-wind at the home strip put me off. The types in order for Mike are:- Wicko, Travel Air 12, Leopoldoff L7, Stinson Reliant, PA-15 Vagabond (close relation to a PA-12), CASA 1-131E (Spanish Bucker Jungmann), Zlin 326 and the Storch. More photographs would be good please.
It was certainly an excellent event. Further pictures now uploaded to the undernoted link.

Guess its back to normal or the day after the weekend before. A few departures this morning and the rest of the based aircraft being returned to their hangars.

Looking back at the excellent weekend show it is perhaps worth recording on this thread that in the closing flypasts all 3 of the Spitfire Ltd warbirds flew in formation together perhaps for the first time ?

Arriving last week at Old Warden for assembly and to be resident alongside the owners Cygnet G-EBJI was 1936 vintage Aeronca C3 G-ADRR. It appeared on the flight line of yesterdays Air show but seen below in all its glory in hangar 8 today. Last flown apparently in 1948 it is believed it has yet to make its first flight since restoration. The owners website can be viewed at . http://www.colinessex.com

Duxford Thursday 10th July
With rain and low cloud over the airfield most of the day there has been little of the expected activity. The Catalina went out to Fairford and back and the TFC Spitfire XIV was out for further engine runs late afternoon. A local Harvard departed followed around 5pm by air tests from the TFC P.40F and Corsair. It is believed the Red Bull B.25 may have arrived just after 6pm. A lot then to happen tomorrow if the weather improves !!!!!
