Duxford — Wednesday 25/6/14
Most noteworthy of the DX activity today was the first flight this year of the TFC Nimrod in the hands of Stu Goldspink.
Noted visiting today was one of the most recent Tiger Moth restorations G-ANOM which is based on a strip near Wellingborough.

I like the new colours of G-TRIX PV202. I notice there is the name Bremont on the fuel tank cowl. Is this a sponsor?, (Watch maker perhaps?)
Actually its been registered G-CCCA since 2003 but only now carrying PV202 again

Duxford Friday 23rd May,
Whilst pre airshow activity took centre stage for most of the day with C-47s,Gliders, Spitfires and Buchons all flying pride of place must go to the TFC Hellcat which flew for the first time in nearly 6 years when Pete Kinsey lifted her of the ground just before 5.30pm this evening. Congratulations to all involved at TFC for getting this rare machine in the air again.

[QUOTE=DCW;2137331]Duxford Monday 12th May:
The move of Spitfire MH434 back to Hangar 3 allowed some close-ups of her new D-Day markings. Not the first time this aircraft has worn stripes.
I think it’s safe to assume it took hours of meticulous research and days of painstaking labour to re-create an original hastily applied scheme.
Perhaps time to show some of her previously worn stripes
