With restrictions on photography and to parts of the airfield today due to the 2 sets of filming taking place I will confine myself to a few late afternoon shots of Buchon action

The Buchon was parked down the M11 end of the runway – a bit far for my pitiful portable picnic picture taker…
The ‘big guns’ to the rescue then Bob !!
–and in attrocious conditions with the cloud base down to just a few hundred feet a tremendous flying routine for the waiting film crew.

Just noticed that TA805 has had its fuselage invasion stripes removed.
Yes indeed. They were in the process of being removed yesterday.

DX Wednesday 22/5/13
The TFC Hawk and P.47G have just returned from France. Their Spitfire XIVe arrived earlier in the day following its trip to Holland. The P.40F is currently flying.
May 19th –Another busy morning at DX with lots of local warbird flying. The TFC Spitfire 14 departed to Holland and their Harvard and P.40F were active locally ,the latter seen below piloted by Nick Grey.
The Grace Spitfire TR9 displayed seen below taxying back in.
Hurricane G-CHTK returned to DX having night stopped yesterday at Cambridge after her display there for the Flying Groups 60th anniversary celebrations,
Duxford Friday 17th May. No photographs from today but a fair amount of local activity noted. No doubt someone will come up with some pictures ?
The Catalina departed this morning apparently to France.
The based T.28 has been flying for most of the day.
The Grace Spitfire T9 landed late afternoon.
Buchon Yellow 10 was also flying this afternoon.
The final parts of the Sea Venom and Amiot looked to be about to depart for Poland.
