Monday 23rd – A Quiet Day At Duxford. 😀
2x T9 Spitfire’s up and down like yo-yo’s all day. Mk VIII Spitfire(D-FEUR) left for home, HAC Nimrod went up for an air test and was taking off again as I left. OFMC P-51 ‘Frankie’ flew with some aerobatics thrown in and a Cy-29(HA-YAO) arrived first thing and parked up in the ARCo compound and the Catalina did some low power engine runs. Apart from that, and Classic Wings flying, a quiet and sunny day and BT still haven’t fixed my phone line yet so no piccies. 🙁

Here are some pictures then to follow up Brians report.
A follow up to DCWs report from today is that Buchon G-AWHE departed this afternoon back to Humberside.
DX 10/7/12 —Still fairly quiet at DX following Legends but it was pleasing to note today that in the TFC hanger the Wildcat was being worked on.
Down at the M11 end of the airfield the Nord 1002 G-ATBG was being returned to the hanger now with its wings attached and having undergone engine runs.
Whilst on the Airliner display apron the BAC 1-11 was receiving some TLC
Otherwise the Skyraider and German registered Spitfire VIII still remain
