Numerous warbird flights today at Duxford with at least 6 different Spitfires taking to the sky , some making several flights. Also the P.47 returned from Sywell.

Another busy day at Duxford in the sunshine with local flying and aircraft returning from airshow duty both in the UK and France.
Both the HAC Hawker Biplanes of HAC were out for engine runs although unfortunately only the Fury flew

Plenty of activity today in the sunshine.
Just over 50 years to the day since it first landed at Duxford Buchon Yellow 7 flew in from Sywell just after 10am and spent the day parked on the Duxford grass.

Perhaps equalling the arrival of Yellow 7 was the appearance of Spitfire PRXI PL983 / GPRXI which was been under restoration with ARCo for several years. It cannot be long before it will be back in the air.
