    Hi,

    The routes operates MAN-LGW-MBA-MAN-LGW so in other words, only makes a stop at Gatwick on the outbound leg.

    MyTravel also commence direct East Midlands to Mombasa from March.

    Hey,

    Hope you know the wage they will be paying you for your 38.5+ hours a week. It’s not all its cracked up to be! I don’t mean to try and put you off but I am sure you will find out. Expect £75-£100 per week which roughly equates to £1.94 – £2.59 hourly rate.

    Hi,

    MyTravel are keeping the B767 until at least the end of Summer 2007. The entire fleet is under going a re-fit this year. This will feature leather seats throughout economy and new improved seat foams. The re-fit will also see an increment in legroom onboard the A330 & B767 to 31″ in line with British Airways, Virgin etc…

    MyTravel is currently in talks with Airbus and Boeing for a replacement for the A330 in the form of either the B787 or A350 for both the UK and A/S fleet.

    Hi,

    The MYT143 is a B767 so could be either G-SJMC or G-DAJC both of which now have Premiair Gold cabins. When I flew on G-SJMC earlier this year seat pitch was around 30″ which was very comfortable and contrary to what ‘tommyinyork’ said, the interior was neat and tidy.

    Kinda sticking on topic, are MYT A321’s fitted with the new interior yet, if so what they look like ?

    None of the A321s currently have the new cabins. 5 A320s presently have them, however, rollout will be progressive and the entire fleet will be fitted by S07.

    On another note, the all new MyTravel.com and MyTravel Group websites went live this morning.

    Hi,

    The delay on the MYT034 from Las Vegas on Thursday was due to the aircraft being damaged on the ground by handlers in LAS.

    I believe the diversion today was a medical emergency.

    Hi,

    G-WJAN was only built in 1997. Manchester is mainly an A321 base this Summer for MyTravel with B757 and B767 short and mid haul rotations also within the flying programme. There are also quite a lot of SSH, HRG, Turkey and other destinations being operated by A330s.

    Hi,

    I am planning on going on MYT111/112 to FUE, according to the website these are operated by a 763. can anybody confirm this?

    The flight on the 26th July is scheduled as MYT195 and is a Wednesday 07:00 A321-211 departure, however if you opt for the Saturday departure (22nd or 29th) at 16:25, this is the MYT111 and is operated by a B767-31K subject to operational changes – the B767 has around 30”seat pitch as it is normally used for long haul operations whereas the A321 is standard UK charter configuration at around 28“. The A321 may possibly have been fitted with leather seats and improved seat padding by July though.

    Hi,

    I believe G-DAJC – B767-31K(ER) is currently is Bahrain for maintenance and is to be Glasgow based for long haul operations this Summer. The aircraft is also being fitted with a Premiair Gold cabin.

    The A320s have returned from Canada Winter operations along with Skyservice A320s on Summer lease.

    Sanya sales are doing very well and major announcements last week include the start of Manchester to Olbia from May 2007 and year round Banjul operations with MyTravel Airways replacing the previous Astraeus service from November onwards.
