Hi,
Thanks for your comments. Keep them coming! I’m just in the process of writing the return flight up. Posting it shortly!
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your comments 🙂 keep them coming!
At the moment FCA are operating two A320 services and 1 757-200 service to BJV from MAN departing SAT, SUN and MON.
From a point of them being the best charter airline, I would say they are on par with, if not a little below Thomas Cook.
Thanks
Thomas Cook
And the one I find most interesting is 7 weekly flights to Liverpool in direct competition with Ryanair.
Hi,
There not only in direct competition with Ryanair from LPL, there in competition with there own MAN-DUB route aswell as Luxair and Ryanair’s MAN-DUB routes!
Thanks

Hi,
Condor are keeping their 753s and have/are retiring all 752s from service. Even before TCX flew there where indications from jmc that they where unhappy with their A330s and where thinking of disposing of them. It is also very likely that TCX will do an equipment swap with Condor. Doubt it would be 753s for 763s though (maybe 753s for A320s or 752s?). If TCX are looking into acquiring 767s they will probably want them as new as possible – so not from Condor as theirs date from between 1991 and 1995 of the production line?
Thanks

Hi,
We will very likely see one of bmi’s A319s at MAN being utilised on the MAN-LHR route probably. For the time being though I believe the A319 will go into service on the LHR-BRU route.
Thanks

Hi,
I did love jmc AIR’s c/s but like Thomas Cook’s even more. I think the .com titles change very little about TCX but send them a step in the right direction. Most UK charters have there website listed on there aircraft – to name a few:
AV8 Air
Excel Airways
FlyJet
First Choice Airways
Monarch Airlines
MyTravel Airways
…and as I said in my earlier post the .com titles have only been added to one side of the a/c and maybe Thomas Cook will only add them to a few 757s? Who knows?
Thanks
Thomas Cook
Hi,
From my understanding the NTSB have previously blamed the use of rapid rudder reversal at high speed for the vertical stabilizer detaching from the air frame? Thus meaning that Molin would have been to blame but if AA had trained there crews to use the rudder system more responsibly…?
Thanks

I’m sure you will agree they look quite similar on the side of an a/c. When applied to a similar c/s and a slightly similar font the tiltes could appear the same to an un trained eye! What do you have to say for yourselves BY? 😀
Anyway, I like the new .com titles. Most airlines do it bad, TCX have made it look great! Please bear in mind though that the .com titles have only been applied to the left hand side of the a/c.

Hi,
I have also flown G-JMAB twice – last Augst – TCX635K/L MAN-SKG-MAN. This aircraft was scheduled to operate the TCX135K/L (MAN-MIR) last Sunday but due to the accident the flight was cancelled. I am travelling the service on FEB 15th & 22nd. Can anybody confirm an aircraft type?
Thanks
