    Hi,
Its a nice aircraft and its sad to see it going out of service with Aeroflot, but at least they are looking towards the future and modernising their fleet.

Here are some great pictures of the IL-62:

    Hi,
I was thinking of doing that 😀 the only problem being I have important GCSE lessons on Wednesday’s. 😡 Oh well. I’m just glad I’ve seen it at Manchester before.

    Thanks

    Hi,
It a real shame that they are just being left their to rot. I hope they find a new owner.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Liverpool is quite interesting, although it’s a bit awkward as goes viewing

Liverpool is a nice, modern, little airport. As you mentioned though viewing can be awkward. The only place to get a good view across the apron and part of the runway is to go to cafe before departures, but I’m sure security will move you on eventually if your not a passenger.

Do you know of anywhere at Dublin where you can see the planes other than from the airside

There is a grass mound by the road side opposite to Runway 28 that most of the “spotters” seem to go to because you can get good views of departures and arrivals from here.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Its a shame that BAA seem to have this trend of shutting viewing facilities down. I’m just glad BAA don’t own MAN becuase if they did I bet the viewing areas would be shut down in a shot to make way for something or another.

    Thanks
