Keep it up Bill – always a good read to cheer me up.

Bloody foxes – some half witted loon way back when decided to import some into Aussie, so it would be more like home! Sadly, not enough are road kill and the missuss’ chickens got ravaged a while ago – not a pretty sight……

The Albatros D.II is flying with one of their new build Mercedes. and their Snipe has one of their new-build Bentley rotaries. Amazing accomplishments!
It gives me hope of seeing a flying Gotha, one of these days!

What we are waiting for, of course, is a decent WW1 flying movie, starring the “original’ cast of aircraft……….

Great clip. Dave is the consummate flyer – very skilled, very professional and the Tiger is like an old pair of comfy slippers to him…..he’s always good to watch.

I hear they’re manufacturing new Mercedes engines as well – is this correct?

True, but they are substantialy the same from the firewall back and I’m sure, if someone came up with a genuine RNZAF example for trade, rebuilding it back to F status wouldn’t be overly difficult.
At least the airframe is no longer a pile of debris as it once was.

Are there any bits of Martin Maryland or Baltimore left – both well used aircraft in the Middle East that seem to be currently extinct?

Wow! Would love to see that whizzing past with a couple of Mk.I Spits on its tail!

As it’ll be based in Germany, perhaps they’d like a Spit 1whizzing past with this 109 on it’s tail………..
