You’re right Teesside’s name change was ridiculous but i think that they changed if for foreign travellers. Then again, ask a french man where Durham is and they’ll stare at you blankly. 😉

What the hell has Robin Hood got to do with Doncaster anyway?

According to their website Robin Hood actually spent most his time around Doncaster. But if Nottingham East Midlands change their name to Robin Hood Intl then it would be better suited.

Its obvious they are scared of Ryanair. Why else no Dublin routes the 3rd most popular city destination in Europe.

I wouldn’t say there scared because they have announced flights to Cork, Shannon and Knock recently. Just worried.

Aviation – Youve seen a few Monarch planes at MAN, they have about a million flights a day! They have at least one of the whole fleet based at MAN AFAIK.

Ok point taken but i have seen more Monarch A320’s than A321’s or A330’s.

Never been to any of the Canaries but i heard somewhere you can spot more LTU planes there than in Munich, don’t know if it’s true.

I’ve seen a few Monarch planes at Manchester and they prefer the A320 up here.
