I want to know why they are called British Mediterranean because most the destinations they fly to are in Asia or Africa.

    That’s true SHAMROCK

But when i went to Barcelona last year i chose to fly EZY from Liverpool instead of Ryanair from Liverpool but into Girona. The prospect of an hours drive at night, in a country i don’t know made that decision for me.

    what about MAN – LTN?

Easyjet did LPL-LTN once, don’t know why they dropped it. But i think LTN is too far out from London, but a Stansted people from the North might connect to one of Ryanair’s middle of nowhere destinations.

If Ryanair do announce LPL-STN Eastern Airways will drop the MAN-STN faster than you could say Boeing 747!

The way low-cost airlines are growing at the moment bmibaby just won’t keep up. I reckon they’ll be dead and buried in less than 10 years.

I don’t think easyJet will operate MAN-ORY because of LPL-CDG.

I like the sound of Bordeaux and Bergerac in France. Bergerac espcially is lacking in British flights and it’s in a high tourist area. 🙂

    Do bmibaby still operate MAN-BOD?

According to Reuters, Liverpool will be announced as Ryanairs next base on Monday.
The loco market seems to be in overdrive at the moment!

That would be great news for LPL but not for EZY. Then again they have neglected it recently.

I think its a bit risky, to much competition with bmibaby and Jet2!!

    Not with them routes!

Newcastle is quite hard to get to from Liverpool and Manchester. Air Wales tried Plymouth – Newcaslte via Cardiff and Liverpool once, didn’t work.
