    Thank you anyway – at least I know what the PW stands for – any aircraft type would do – I wonder if I could reverse the enquiry and check what the Canberra, Lightning, Vampire etc used

    I would like a working Tachometer but not necessarily from a Hunter – it just has to work with a Hunter signal generator – didn’t the Canberra have the same type of Avon engines so maybe they had the same type of signal generator.

    Thank you for the update – just checked the costings – £60 to £90 each and that was for a standard off the shelf plug – have you a suggestion for a more reasonably priced commercial equalivant

    Thank you for the suggestion – I checked a few images on Google and they could be – but did not find any with the same sort of outside thread as mine – my thread is course with flat edges – but I’ll keep looking –
