Feliz Navidad desde España y Prospero Año Nuevo con Salud y Paz.
Don’t have any neighbours here, it’s heaven.
A few nights ago, a fox was outside barking for an hour or so and wild boar tramp round the fields, grunting merrily as they eat a few of our almonds once each year, but on the whole it’s very peaceful.

You could be right, Daz, coz after all, yo is da man.

“That thou doest, do thou swithe.”

Edit: You corrected it already.:D
Maybe you should have said, “Given an inflated opinion of her talent by four idiots and one heck of a lot of the British public.”
What say you Mike?

oh well what do I know, I’ve only had eight cats:rolleyes:
Not a lot then, so roll your eyes as much as you like.
As far back as I can remember, cats were part of the family, so I’ve had around 65 of my 68 years to study their habits at close quarters and at a distance.
As for numbers, I don’t recall exactly, but it would be somewhere in the region of 20.;)
Tom, Whiskey, Tom (2), Blackie, Panda, Fred, Tuesday, Sadie, Tom (3), Sammy, Scampi, Santiago, Sally, Sebbie, Sinbad, are the names I can remember.
I was present at the births of some of those.
When Sadie had Tom (3), she was too lazy to eject her litter, so I had to pull all four of them out, cut the cords, clean them up, dispose of the afterbirth and hold her down so that the kittens could suckle.
She got the message after a while, then did her best to rear them and they all survived.
Over.

The Meteor crash was at Westcliff-on-Sea, nowhere near to Roots Hall.
Are you now suggesting the possibility of three separate accidents in a similar timeframe in that area, Westcliff, Southend and Benfleet?
I draw your attention to Old Fart’s post in the earlier thread on this subject:

I have extensively reseached the accident:Monday September 10th 1951: RAF Gloster Meteor F8 VZ519 of 84sqn flown by Pilot Officer Lionel Millikin broke up in mid air over Westcliff, fuselage crashing onto Hainault Avenue, 88 Beedell was destroyed, wreckage was strewn across Ramaz Drive & Brightwell Avenue as well, the Pilot was attempting to get to Southend Airport when the aircraft broke up his body was found 20p minites after the crash still strapped in his seat.
An engine was recoverd from near Southend Pier. Those killed on the ground were: Mr S Smith & Mrs A M Gilbert with Mrs F Sydenham dieing later in Southend Genreal Hospital. The accident also injured Mr H Duck.
Chox, I’ve read that theory on other forums, but can assure you that it’s erroneous information.
The cats I’ve known, have always preferred their own territory as a toilet, but as with us humans, I imagine a lot depends on where you are at the time you’re taken short?

So you have cats round your way as big as a Ford Focus?
I’d consider moving, before they turn nasty!
