Rafale & NH-90
Great shots, are there any shots of the NH-90 from the Rafale’s HUD?

Also a Rhodesian AF Allouette III shot a Botswana Defence Force Islander, not sure if it was shot down though
9 August 1979, while Rhodesian troops attacked a Botswanan force, a Botswanan Pilatus Britten-Norman Defender arrived in support of the Botswanans, when a Rhodesian SE-316B Alouette III, (K-Car) piloted by Air Lt Chas Goatley, hovering in ambush behind a hill emerged, engaged and damaged the Defender with its 20mm cannon. The Alouettesâs flight engineer (Gordon âBeaverâ Shaw) used a handheld Hispano MG151 20mm. The Defender limped away and was able to land at its airbase (Molepolole, Botswana) without any fatalities and limited damage.
The Britten-Norman BN-2A Defender pilot was Seretse Khama Ian Khama, who later became a Lieutenant General and Commander of the Botswana Defence Force (1989 â 1998), and President of Botswana (April 1, 2008). First son of the first Botwana president Sir Seretse Khama, He attended Sandhurst Military Academy.

Helos killing fixed wing aircraft
Here are some examples of helicopter shooting down fixed wing aircraft:
12 January 1968, an Air America Bell 204B Huey, piloted by Ted Moore (Theodore H. (Ted) Moore), was airborne moving 105mm artillery ammo from Lima Site-36 near Ban Pha Thi, Laos, to lower artillery positions during aerial bombing and machine gun/rocket attacks by three North Vietnamese Air Force AN-2 Colts (inbound course 210) on Lima Site-85. The Colts flew down the valley to the west. Moore gave chase, attempting to call in USAF interceptors, when the Colts turned back east and began to climb to higher altitudes to clear the mountains they crossed the 204âs flight path allowing the 204 to intercept them. The 204 positioned above and on the pilotâs blind right side, Glen R. Woods (d. 14 Aug. 69 – helo crash), the flight mechanic, fired an AK-47, with armor piercing tracer rounds, out the door down on the first Colt. It crashed immediately into the jungle (20-28N., 103-38â E.). The second Colt was about a mile away and was quickly intercepted and shot down in the same fashion near Sam Neua, Laos.
27 October 1982, In Iraqiâs Baghdad Observer report âDay of the Helicopter Gunshipâ, that an Iraqi Mi-25 Hind shot down an Iranian F-4 Phantom, north of the Eyn Khosh area. It was reported that the Soviets brought a specially prepared Mi-24 Hind with a next generation longer range AT-6 Spiral ATGM, that was tested in the air-to-air mode. Mr. Marat Nikolaevich Tishenko, chief designer for the Mil Design Bureau, also made this claim at the 1989 Paris Air Show (Steven J. Zaloga, âATA: Helicopter Dogfightingâ, Mi Seitelman; Ed., Advanced Combat Helicopters, Evolving Roles, Motorbooks Int’l, 1988, p. 10; Steven J. Zaloga & George J. 24 May 2001 IDF AH-64A Apache Bo# 967 shot down a Lebanon registered Cessna 172 with a Hellfire missile. A Lebanese Cessna which entered Israeli airspace is shot down by an IAF Apache after failing to heed to IAF warnings and identify itself or turn back. Shortly before 11:00 IAF controllers detect the light plane taking off from Beirut and heading south towards Israel. As the plane enters Israeli airspace (11:20) it is intercepted and accompanied by IAF fighters and attempts are made to contact it. When the pilot fails to respond to Israeli attempts at communication, including standard international signals and radio frequencies, warning shots are fired in front of it. Arriving on the first anniversary of Israel’s withdrawal from South Lebanon, the plane is feared to be on a possible suicide mission by the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, and as it continues to head south, approaching heavily populated areas, a decision is made to down it. At 11:53, over Mikhmoret, an IDF “Magic Touch” Squadron Apache fires a single missile, destroying the plane and killing the pilot, Stefan Nikolian, a 43 years old Lebanese of Armenian heritage. 9K338 Igla-S (SA-24)
It’s either the 9K38 Igla (SA-18) or newer variant 9K338 Igla-S (SA-24) and judging by that photo I’d say it’s the later one.
Thanks, That was what I was looking to receive.
Igla Part II
Ka-60 is cancelled. RD-600 is cancelled. Ka-62 will be offered to RuAF.
Alligator/Hokum-B (what about using Google?)
My query was the NATO and Russian designation for the Igla ATA missiles as the term Igla is used for a series of anti-air missiles.
Igla
But what is it’s Russian designation and NATO code name?

Looks like the latest Ka-52s have modified MAWS mounts – larger than previous model.
What version are the Air-to-Air missiles? And where and when was the image taken?
HUD Images
Great images, now are there any HUD images of the SU’s and MiG’s? FLIR would be great as well!!
What do the other 4-stars represent?
