Thanks for all your detective work, I knew I could rely on you lot!!!!:D
Further “digging” has revealed it’s flight KM4404, just need to check aircraft type now….
So, James villas tells me it’s Air Malta, BHX website tells me it’s Excel but the Excel Website doesn’t let me book that far in advance for the ACE flight.
Im now even more
Now even more
Just checked out the BHX web site and the flight times given match exactly with flight XLA3044 planned for summer 2004
So it looks like it’s going to be a 737 or A320 type of aircraft?
It was indeed G-MAJS both ways!!!, took odd 15 minutes late out and 50 minutes late back but made up time both ways.
Row 13 😮 on the way out, seats e,f,g,h,j (no I:confused: )
Row 23 a,b,c and 24 a,b back, right over the wing.
P.S. Meals were included :p
Captain on the way back was Martin Platt, not the one out of Corrie though 😀
Plenty of Hapag LLoyds at ACE last sunday, most 738 with bloomin large winglets!!!!

cheesebag. It seems you and I come from the same neck of the woods. Didn’t Air Malta operate the same flights last year?

Just checking my BHX summer 2003 guide,
Air Malta only flew to MLA, Azzurra air flew to JSI, BRS, NAP and CFU
Which have they leased????

What if you already operate a large A319/A320/A321 fleet, the A318 suddenly makes sense because you already have your infrastructure there to support it…crew, and maintainence…no prob…
But if you dont $$$$$$ count.
A (cheaper) competitor for the baby bus?????
