    Thanks Steve.
Great, I need help with one more picture, on september 23rd 1993 a MiG-23MF from Holguin was taken to Guantanamo by another defecting pilot, I would love to get the serial number of that plane or a picture, can anybody help?
This is what I found on that

Another Cuban Fighter Pilot Defects to the U.S. in a MIG
    Print Save

    Published: September 24, 1993
A Cuban MIG-23 fighter jet landed at the United States military base at Guantanamo, Cuba, today in the second defection by a Cuban pilot in a week, the Defense Department said.

A Cuban Air Force pilot landed at Key West, Fla., Naval Air Station last Friday after fleeing in his MIG-21 fighter. That pilot, Enio Ravelo Rodriguez, 32, said he had sought asylum in the United States because of the worsening economic situation in Cuba and because President Fidel Castro had “sold out” the Communist revolution.

The United States allowed the return today of the MIG-21 in Key West. A pilot flown to the base from Cuba along with a maintenance crew of eight, flew the jet home. The crew returned in their transport plane.

Here we even have the pilot’s name.

Cuban authorities have named a pilot who flew his MIG-23 fighter plane to the United States naval base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba this week, calling his defection an act of treason. The Government said in a statement that Capt. Leonides Basulto Serrano flew off during a training exercise Thursday from an air base at Holguin, about 120 miles to the northwest of Guantanamo. His was the second such defection in a week. Both pilots have sought asylum.

    The Baphomet 00
I have four High Resolution pictures of this MiG-21BIS, all of them taken at Boca Chica Naval Base, near Key West in 1993, this MiG-23BIS was used on a defection and was one of the last MiG-21 BIS flying on a regular basis, 672 was also the last MiG-21BIS delivered to Cuba.
    I’ll put the pictures later.
Let’s keep on finding pictures, you may be able to get some pictures from pilots form the Venezuelan Air Force.

Cuban Zlin-142 from Tropas Guadafronteras, at San Nicloas de Bari
    First time in the internet
Tropas Guardafronteras had a total of 8 Zlin-142 and SEPMI had 4 all based at San Nicolas de Bari.
Also if you look closely at one of the photos you’ll see a Mi-17 in the background, Tropas Guardafronters had three of them.
Mi-17 serial 131, 132, 133. These helicopters would spend lots of time at Camaguey, where two squadrons of Mi-17 where based unde UM 3685.
The also went to Cienfuegos where the DAAFAR had another two squadrons of Mi-8TS under UM 3684.

These planes are no longer active with Tropas Guardafronteras, only as few as 2-3 are now at San Antonio de los Baños as primary trainers.

Now lets go after Fidel Castro and his secrets.
Fidel Castro has his own private airport, near Havana, it’s called Playa Baracoa.
The regiment UM-3405 had, 4 helicopters 2 Mi-8P VIP Serials 71, 74 and 2 Mi-8TS serials 72, 73. I also have the name of the pilots, if anybody lieke I can put some more about that. These helicopters are not used often anymore.
These unit had 4 An-24 VIP, Fidel used 930, and his brother Raul Castro had 931, the other two An-24 salon are used by high raking member of the goverment. These planes were painted white with a red and blue stripe. Lately Fidel may not be using Dassault Falcon 50 YV-1128 and YV-1129 own by Sata and the Venezuelan goverment.

My friend have come really close to him. Check these out.
