The serial that you put in are for helicopters, Now I have lots of things on the Mi-8, Mi-17, and Mi-24/35 in Angolan service.
I’ll start with this, the first 4 mi-8 delivered to Angola 01, 02, 03, 04 were cuban own.
01, 03, 04 were lots in accidents or combat early in the conflict.
Mi-8 02 was also in a accident but was rebuild and return to Cuba by ship, they wanted to make it a SAR helicopter , but it was in such a bad state that it was flown into the museum and that is where you can find it today.
It was rebuilt with pieces from other helicopter and if you look real closed you can see some bullet holes, some of you may like to know that the manufacture number for this helicopter is 31202 which was reserved for Angolan Helicopters.
