MiG-21 serial 672
This is a very interesting picture of a Dasault Falcon 50 that I found at Holguin airport
It,s from Venezuela, it belongs to SATA a branch of the Venezuelan Air Force,
it was purchased by Hugo Chavez for Fidel Castro to used, It’s YV-1128, but also YV-1129 has been used by Fidel in his bi-weekly trip to La Ochila Island in Venezuela, Fidel may not be to happy with me for posting this picture here.
These are pictures from the other actuve air base in Cuba, Holguin.
Here you can see the 4 alert shelter at the base.
You can also see a MiG-23MF in one of the Shelter.
Ok let’s start a new thread to put pictures of cuban planes, Are you guys ready?
Luis
Yes Flex297 got it.
Those MiG-17 and MiG-15 are ex Cuban DAAFAR planes at a shooting range for planes at Las Crucecitas, east of Cienfuegos.
I have about three pictures of that place and it was used by Mig-21BIS and MiG-23BN from the regiment UM 1890 at Santa Clara air base for target practice, that base is now closed.
The Regiment at San Antonio de los Baños UM 1779 used another shooting range, south of Havana called Playa Tomate, and for the regiment at Holguin UM 1724 used Lesca north of Camaguey, however none of these two sites has any planes there.
The last pictures is of a Cuban DAAFAR Mi-17 from the Holguin airbase, this picture was taken after a drug boost near Cayo Coco.Luis
More pictures from Bastion 2004

Cuban MiG-29UB FAR 900, the only MiG-29UB active.
Cuban Mi-17 FAR120 at Santiago de Cuba, this on of about three Mi-17 based at Frank Pais Airport in Holguin.
Another Mi-17 FAR 132? at Abel Santamaria Airpot in Santa Clara, this helicopter is one of the two Mi-17 based at Kawama Airport at Varadero where they take part in a Skydiving School.
I hope you enjoy this pictures.

I looking for pictures of operational Cuban Air Force planes.
I have seen some from a Museum, but I’m looking for operational planes, like the Mig-29,23, 21 helicopters like Mi-8, 14, 17, 24 and Ka-28.
Thanks Luis
I’ll put two resent pictures that I found of a Cuban MiG-29UB, the onlyone that remains active, the Serial is FAR 900, by the way this plane has two stars painted on it for what they called victories, the shooting down of two Brothers to the Rescue planes.

Can you do the same for the Cuban Air Force.
Thanks in Advance Luis
