Not sure of other Allied types that are diesel powered. But this isnt new. The idea has been worked on for many years, Its now that companys are mass producing these aircraft. The biggest problem is that they are computer controlled, you do have 2 computers incase of one failing, but if you lose all electrics, you lose your engine!!

Went to Suffolk and Norfolk this summer. went camping with a few freinds. Showing them round the disused airfields. We went to the 100th bomber group museum on the way home saturday morning. I wanted to install something special into a friend, but didnt know how. We walked out of the tower, onto the balcony and I heard an aero engine. I told my friend to look up and we saw a P51 Mustang fly overhead. Amazing timing, sent a chill down my back and swept my friend up in the moment. He now vividly remembers that. And then after seeing the ‘real deal’ we went to the top observation post where, in the back round was the sounds of aero engines on cd, not quite the same!!!
    Merry Christams.

Having had a personal guided tour of the facilities I would say that the oppertunity would make it worth more than £75. Plus also if the fee were cheaper then tickets would sell so bloody quick. I think anymore money would be far too silly but I still think its worth £75. Hope all who go enjoy it and post their thoughts here afterwards

the height is usually stated clearly in the flight and or maint manual. As a general rule of thumb though, it will be the highest point of the aircraft in a level or ‘flying’ position. TC

    Fantastic

Great looking aircraft. The chaps have obviously put a lot of time, effort and love into making it look that good. curious as to why you have a P&W badge on the engine? Odd looking turbine!! 😀
Hope it flies well soon. Good luck. TC
