    Ah right – Was just a suggestion, maybe its a positioning flight to take it somewhere to fly people to Mecca ? I dont know.

    Possibly – Syrian pilgrims to Mecca would make sense

    I have heard First buses in Manchester are bad and I did catch a train from Manchester to Blackpool once – overcrowded because of the cancellation of the previous train but you never know, Scotrail might now be better. They do have a more modern fleet than First North Western/Great Western/Great Eastern/buses in Manchester

    Moving back to the main issue here, yes this expensive tunneling option might not be the right way but put a station on the existing line and divert the tram to serve it before going of to the airport?

    Scotrail are now First. The new rail link is good news in my opinion – any UK rail expansion is. Anyone know what services will serve the airport?

    Is it me of does the Cairo Aviation and TNT Tu’s have Rolls Royce engines ?????

    Yes they do and are Tu-204-120 (Passenger) and Tu-204-120C (Cargo) versions. Presumabley to meet EU noise restrictions?
