Lydd has been trying tobecome a London airport for ages. And in all that time there has been Le Tourquet flights and nothing else. I wish the airport well but I think any future expansion will be limited (maybe the Channel Islands or an extra destination in Northern France with Lydd Air)

I think tommyinyork may have been refering to what happens if a plane is fully converted to freighter configuration, like the B747F or B757F

Problem at EDI is FlyGlobespan. They have showed they will compete with Jet 2 by inceasing Murcia to daily this summer. The most obvious new EDI route, in my opinion, for Jet 2 is TFS. However I would expect GSM to start EDI-TFS if Jet 2 did. Jet 2 will have to be very careful in its expansion with GSM if it wants to avoid a price war. Hopefully GSM and Jet 2 can successfully co-exist at EDI though
