A lot of aircraft can fly very low, i.e. ‘terrain masking’, including the F-16. The A-10 can’t do a lot of what a F-16 can do – the F-16 can do just about everything the A-10 can.
US is not pioneer in SENSOR FUSION in fighter aircrafts (like in VLO).
The Rafale and Eurofighter were first operational fighter with that capability.
The first US fighter with sensor fusion was an F-22A, US Navy upgrade SH just recently.
F-16E/F has no data sensor fusion according flightglobal.
In F-35 sensor fusion nothing is revolutionary and every new fighters (example: Gripen NG, Su-35S) will have that capability.

LM proved that everything doing by them is vastly superior than competitors product …. no comment here.

You realise that no T-50 is flying with the ‘type 30’ so any flying done in Spring 2013 would have been with the 117 motor – few people have hard data on the type 30 plant, which is still being developed.

Using that logic, an F-15E could also supercruise at Mach 2. Does it?

That’s an irrelevant imposed limit. In peace time no F-22 would be exceeding that speed anyway – while in war time pilots will ignore these limits anyway in a combat situation.

As for the T-50 design, why don’t you factor in Moore’s Law between 1997 and 2010?…and there’s only so many times I can demonstrate how it’s stealth materials are a generation apart from the Raptor’s:

Soviets were on par with US in 50s Mig15 vs F86 then they fell badly behind in US in 70-80 not matching mid 70s F15 untl late 80s with SU-27.
Now in the modern era first flight of F22 1997 first flight of T-50 2010. There is no real closing of the gap that opened up in 70s-80s.
Currently US is openly requesting proposals for 6th generation aircraft with F22 in service while Russia is still testing T-50.
Nothing wrong with this critique – there isn’t a single statement incorrect. Today the USA is still about 10 years ahead in many aspects of aerospace technology.
People seem to forget that the F-22 can be upgraded at any time, that goes for its avionics, weaponry and stealth materials, perhaps? When is it due an MLU?
American military seem to be happy with the ‘G limitations’ – why should anyone else complain. It’s invisible to radar and Ultra-violet light beam detectors… – it’s also made of plastic so it should be economic on kerosene.

why are you comparing the Mirage III with a more obscure later version of the MiG-21 – was the SMT ever exported?
Surely it would be better to compare Mirage III with MiG-21 produced from the late 1950s end of 1960s – MiG-21F, PF or FL even?

That doesn’t make the SHar a better fighter. By far not.
More or less true – the AIM-9L missile was the best out there at the time – although I don’t think many AIM-9Ls were fired from the frontal aspect, or were they?
Why is Iraq paying 4.8 billion USD for 24 AH-64E while India is paying ‘only’ 1.3 billion for 22 AH-64D? why the huge discrepancy? Why almost 3 times as much for each gunship?
Quite expensive so.
The MiG-29 was probably the optimum solution to mass air-warfare over Europe in the 80s.
But the MiG-29 must have been very expensive though, considering its design specification and equipment levels. Almost like a slightly scaled down F-15 in purchase and running costs I’d say.
AFAIK the F-16C/D which started deliveries around 1985, was equipped with the APG-68 and could carry two Aim-7s. Also used by ANG F-16A/Bs I think.
I am pretty certain there were no AIM-7 armed F-16 in Europe right up to the end of the cold war. In fact I don’t think there was ever any AIM-7 armed F-16 in Europe (maybe Turkish AF?). Many European F-16 were upgraded to AIM-120 capability in the 1990s, though (block 25 programme).
