The absolute best display pilot ever, i will sadly miss his energetic displays. A sad day for aviation 🙁

Looking over her at the last open day, she looks grotty, could do with a decent scrub, but i guess the guys do their best. Also having a look inside, it was obvious thee is a lot of rot down in the back galley area. Doesn’t help that she is not hangared. Flying again is a pipe dream. Glad the guys manage to blast her up n down the runway once in a while !!

i’ve got 10 hrs in NPK, back in 97!!! Great ship. I hope they’ve removed the hopper located mid fuselage. Great news!

Of course if you work for a foreign operator, you do not have to go through this pallaver. Not required.
Why am i not amazed at the stupidity if this system. Just another bureacracy this government have set up, = more tax. (rant over)

Yet another 727 bit the dust the other day in LOS. Adding to more derelict aircraft at the airport
Spotter alert on this thread guys. I’ve never heard so much armchair conjecture, sheesh….
There have been many such incidents before, i’ve seen 777’s with damage like this before and much else on other types. Cut the guys a break, do you know all the facts????? or is it conjecture an opinion, thought so….

OK from a drivers point of view.
1. Trip Fuel, ie that needed for the planned route based on the predicted aircraft weight.
2. Contingency fuel or route reserve, can be 3-5% of the above dependent on company policy. This is if you don’t get the planned flight level and hence predicted fuel burn. Also unplanned re-routes.
3. Alternate Fuel.
4. Final Fuel, that need for 30 mins holding at alternate at 1500′
5. Taxi and Apu fuel.
6.Extra fuel. For holding and delays, tanking. Tanking is where it is cheaper to take fuel with you, even though additional fuel is used to carry it. Because fuel at destination is much more expensive.
Most carriers use this system, with national/carrier variances on the formulas.
Hope that makes sense.

It will be a 321, only type BASED at BHX. 320’s are based in MAN and just 1 @ LTN this winter.

Talking of Red Bulll, enjoy these !!
Yeah OK if you say so 😮 Probably felt much worse than it was. All in a days work my friend.

Well they could have fixed the IFE, but that would have caused more delays, what would you like, getting on holiday or a couple of hours delay, your call
So most were probably happy with some complimentary drinks. As for the LTN airport system going down, it is very rare in my experience, but sounds like the staff did well.
As for turbulence going into TFS, perfectly normal, rarely is it smooth.Battling for control, LOL, do you work for the Sun, promising future as a journo i think 😀 Bumpy landing, it happens. Better to land in the right place on the runway don’t you think.
Spotty M “321” Driver.
Well it was’nt known as the ground gripper for nothing!!

And being restored to fly by Carlos Gomez, who owns and operates a 7c out of MIA 😀
