    What a lovely find!

A book full of the things that aren’t taught anymore…

Useful facts, practical tips, manners and a work ethos.

Whoa Rigga, I teach this very subject to my students. Maybe I’m just old fashioned though. (you don’t have to answer that)

Heyup Mr Air Ministry, I think you’ll find that your control yoke is a*se about t*t mate. The brake lever should be forward and operable by the left hand.

Thanks for your help Tony. Moggy, I’m very familiar with aircraft weighing and can easily establish the actual cg position, I just needed to know what the fore and aft limits were for loading it up for the big drop test.

    Cheers guys.

I believe he died around about the time of his trial. ISTR reading that when boning up on the Nord1101 some time ago. Don’t think it was Wiki though, probably a french site which was translated.

You lost my interest right away.. “Lite” and “Airplanes” ewwwww!!. Sorry I can’t make constructive criticism on this but it’s been done to death and I’ve heard it before so many times.

Bet you don’t get it past the fag packet stage.

Edit:- My apologies about the Lite and airplane comment, I hadn’t realised you were from out of town at the time..

@ Sycamore; you will already have a permit to fly document issued in respect of the aircraft. It is revalidated annually by the issue of a Certificate of Validity after an inspection. If that C of V is signed, stamped, dated and in the post then it’s good to go.

Edit:- I hope you are reading the Operating Limitations document as well.

Robert, have another read of my post 8… if a certificate of validity has been issued…. ie, signed, dated and stamped (and in the post), then that aircraft is legal to fly.

So where does it say that you have to have it in your hands ?

If the OP is expecting a first issue of a permit to fly then there are obviously different circumstances to contend with. It will have been flying on a PFRC for the purposes of air testing and with that all done, he’s waiting on the CAA to shuffle the papers.
