I was thinking the same Mark. I couldn’t make the Friday, but Saturday or Sunday ought to be okay.

Mark,
PM on its way.
Geoff.
Thanks for your ideas chaps. I’ve posted this on a few forums so I’m hoping someone will have the info needed.
Will do Fluffy.
Geoff.
Bruce,
Not from this component I’m afraid.
Geoff.
Cheers Guys,
Here is a close-up of the bit in question, which came from a Bf109E-4 shot down during the Battle of Britain.
Geoff.
There is a well known photo of a Ju87 in flight minus both u/c legs, but this was a partial fake, as I have seen in a book (can’t remember the title) the original photo beside it with IIRC one leg still attached.
Geoff.
Sorry can’t make it tomorrow after all.
Geoff.
The Beech is marked N96240, I don’t know if it ever had a UK reg.
Geoff.
pimpernel,

Any last minute information on this event?
BTW animx – is there any chance of getting one of those posters? It’d look nice on my wall.
I shall probably arrive at Whyteleafe station between 9 & 10am & call in at St Luke’s before making my way up the hill to the airfield.
If anyone wants to meet up let me know.
Geoff.
Yes Please Adrian.
Geoff.
Cheers Mark for posting that, it’s one I’ll certainly treasure.
You could have Photoshoped a few inches off the waistline though!!
Steve might have been telling me about the two copies he’d just bought, at a rediculously cheap price, of the book on the round the world Chipmunk flight which he was going to sell on ebay for a nice proffit. He was really chuffed at getting these two copies, having already got one for himself.
Geoff.
