Not a landing ’cause the floats arent’t down and secondly pick up a copy of the movie Always so you can watch it in all it’s glory…the scene with the drop and umbrella is also pretty funny.
Historic types seen today at Lelystad [EHLE]
F-AZTE DC-3
N167B A-26B Invader
NC39165 DC-2
PH-PSI P-51D Mustang
G-APSA DC-6
PH-PBA DC-3

After their show at Rygge (NO), P-51D “Big, Beautiful Doll” and the TFC’s Buchon came to Oostwold (NL) for a refuel and left for home around noon or so. Maybe they were spotted..
Susy is on the list for Gathering of Mustangs.
Just read the Dutch CAA forgot to mention it to the police and they got calls from ‘concerned’ people about a sportplane doing stunts above the central station.
DC-2 arriving back at Lelystad.
If you read the thread over at the WIX board, http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13424 it looks like it may be just him looking at someone else’s new mustang.
It showed up at Eelde yesterday at 21.00 and left this morning around 10.45 toward Denmark.

Leaving for Denmark this morning from Eelde [EHGG] was G-BXVI RW386…nice.
This one is jacked up to test the landing gear, maybe looks higher because of the low angle it was shot.
Now wait and see how long it takes for someone to photoshop those jacks away and make it a low flyby picture.
Wiped out?
It was standing on the platform today, they changed the tyres and it looked like it could leave under it’s own power. Looking at it today you can’t see any damage it looks likes it always did.
Had G-AJWB, Miles M38 Messenger 2A, come in for refuel at my local airfield today before it continued on its way to England.

Spend the day at the airport, nothing happened…then I left.
The registration is OO-VLI. Some dark photos at http://www.geas-web.nl
