Actually met up with fellow spotter at Beilen from their to Hoogeveen(A28) and then Emmen(A37) from there it’s Autobahn A31 to A3 and you’re there.
It’s only a 30 min. longer drive than Schiphol for me.

Yesterday saw the departure of G-DHZZ from Eelde (NL) after an unplanned 6 week stay. It’s going to a new owner in Norway.

    The DH.115 Vampire T.55 on take-off:

My missus was at home in Bocking, Braintree at 13:00 yesterday and was buzzed by a low flying, grey Vampire or Venom, heading east very low, noisy and fast, any suggestions, she’s a good artist and drew a good likeness.
My new computers will be up and running next week so I will be back on line soon, this is being sent from our very rural office.

Perhaps the one you’re looking for.
On friday G-DHZZ landed at Eelde (NL) with some malfunction, it’s parked on the apron and I don’t know it’s departure time or what sort of malfunction happened.

According to a press release from the Aviodrome, G-DAKK will arrive tomorrow between 14.00 and 15.30 local time (weather permitting) for a 2 year stay.
No talk about sightseeing flights or the likes just that for the next 2 years the Dakota will be there for daily visitors to see.

The B-17 is Sally B. and the B-25 is Sarinah (N320SQ) from the Duke of Brabant Airforce.

The Harvard is N13FY covered in waterpaint.

Read a posting that Sally B was spotted over Holland travelling east towards Germany.
According to her official site she’s going to Warshaw for a flypast August 1st.

Had a great day at Legends Saturday. Enjoyed the flying, sad to see the P-39 not fly but enjoyed the 2 Catalina’s. Great display flying from the Mustang duo. I’ll be back next year…

Somewhat surprised to read in the programme that it was the last Legends for the Tigercat and it’s going to the US asap.
