Is there a reason you guys aren’t doing this professionally? I see some real talent in there. You guys should look into getting careers along these lines, with some bigger toys to play with your work would really shine.
Keep it up!
And somebody do a MiG 1.44
To answer your question – I’m afraid I’m a little bit young to work in this profession. Unless you happen to know a comapany of designing teenagers in Israel 😀
About the 1.44 – I like the sound of it. Maybe someday… right now my motivation is one model per a long number of months…
There are probably many other starving artists out there doing the same. So it remains a hobby …
Not to mention (at least I my case) – better starving artists 😀
I mean, I sometimes go to CGTalk – what these people do is really amazing…
Unbelievable… can’t stop staring at these! Brilliant. I wish I could do that… someday, someday. God, you guys have talent and dedication. Like Sean said, you guys would do great professionally.
Trust me – if I can, so can anyone that wants 🙂
At first it took me a while and I’m always keep on learning, but the bottom line is that if you want it – you can get it.
Also, you should consider cutting your hair. That’s how you won’t have anything to pull and hurt yourself in the bad times 😀
Nope, not my work. Thought it was good and posted it here.
It is 🙂
urmm..I’m back repeating same old bs again… ….seriously..why dont you guys do it in X-planes..or go step further and integrate the models into the game…I mean..J-10.cm’on.. ..okay we can name it J-10 GoldenDragon to motivate someone
I started designing because I had a dream to fly the IAI Lavi in FS2002, almost two years ago. Since then I completed two Lavi models, one good and one better. The problem is that no matter what I do, I still can’t export the models to the game because of problems in the export program.
Also, you should know that practically any model you see here can be exported to any game you like, including X-Plane.
wauow 😮
Is this your work Jai? 😮
It’s excellent!
Here’s an interesting pic, taken by our very own Sean O’Connor, of an F-4G in the USAF museum. But take a look at its canopy?
What’s the story with the new windshield?
It looks awesome too 😎

That’s pretty sad. I expected atleast 15 years of service after upgrade.
My VAF only contains the Nammer, Lavi and the Grob so far 🙂
But a few more screenies always help 😉
Virtual reality 😀
But I don’t mind having a real private Grob of my own 🙂
Well, I use gMax for designing. It’s a freeware you can get on http://www.discreet.com
I used 3DS Studio Max 6 in the rendering.
I’m not so sure about the kinds of formats the software is capable of saving/exporting. You Should ask GD, he knows 3DS much better than me.
Thanks.
Notice that the model appears $crewed on several spots. It’s not the design – it happened when I exported it from gMax to 3DS in order to render it.
Thanks 🙂
A new work in progress of mine, Grob-120A, in Israeli AF flight academy colors.
What a wonderful beautiful machine. And great pictures.
BTW what’s that on the left intake in the last pic?
Wow, that KA-62 looks like a “Dauphinski” 😮
Very nice pictures.
Is that a Saudi Herc?
You might also be burried in 60 small plastic bags when trying to eject from this kind of fighter.
I know about one former Chief of Staff of the USAF, that visited Israel some years back. Among other things, he said that he was the first pilot that was rescued by an AH-1 Cobra, during the Vietnam war.
I think that’s who John talks about.
