Actually, in this case the enemy isn’t even the pilot. The enemy seats in the higher windows 😉

Doesn’t look pretty with large fuel tanks and conformals….

Thank god it doesn’t. What we need is a fighter jet, not a show jet. Still, when compared to the F-4 it’s still a toy.

You are right on both. The second is a test aircraft that was involved in the Lavi project.

Not Lavi like, but that thing is indeed a Rafale.
In fact, I’m not so sure these pictures were taken in China.

Can our Israeli friends tell us how many F-4s, A-4s, and Kfirs Israel could upgrade and sell to an interested country.

About a hundred F-4s (2000) and a hundred Kfirs (C2/C7, or C10 upgrade). I don’t know much about the A-4, but it is still used in Israel and I don’t believe it was ever offered to be sold.

It’s really sad to see, that this kind of a plane, that obviously has good aerodynamics, get’s a cockpit with technology of 30 years ago.
I hope it’s not the cockpit the serial production model will have.
An FC-1 with good avionics would be a superb plane.
