The difference between them and us is the usage of scientific/engineering methods…most of time that is the only difference.
That’s a great difference.
PLA,
Maybe they got some cards left that they don’t want to reveal 😉
Shalom:)
PLA, with all due the respect, I don’t think that our leading aviation company produces airplanes as of Toys R Us.
And again, with all due the respect, I don’t think you, or any of us, can judge such a UAV, simply because we haven’t seen or heard a word about how it is going on the field.
Most of those look terrible. I have read an interesting arument that, in general, nice ansd sexi sports cars and aircraft are usually good, while the bad ones are usually terribly looking, as well..
Not true.
Look at the Phantom:D
Sorry for that kfadrat:)
Let’s change “Syrians” to the “romulans” :p
One can wish, can’t him?:)
Well first of all, we did paid for the Mirage-5s we ordered. Second, I’ll give you a hint:
Dassault… Bloch…
Rings a bell?:)
Not only it did helped to save Israel’s ass, it was probably supported by Dassault itself.
SD-10, your opinion isn’t considered relavent to me.
You are nationalist, here to show off with the power of China.
But by the way, I had no idea that the US has invented the holes!:D
No, but I hope there won’t be any more terrorists to shoot at.
Better targets are, IMHO, Syrian tanks!:D
But, If you are going by the number, shape and placing of the of holes, the lavi seems closer to the F-16 than the J-10!
Ha?
It’s a bit confusing, but to me it seems that the J-10’s access panels are much more similar by all aspects to the Lavi’s.
Erez, I can see you’re proud but all in all it means, that you have silently sold US technology to China. Technology you have gained for free for defense purposes only. Together with shameless non-licensed copying of Mirage III it says pretty much all about the character of your nation.
I’m not proud at that, I never was.
I was and still do trying to prove that there was a connection between the Lavi and the J-10, though I know it means several thing about Israel. But hey, that’s the beauty of democracy – you may not love what your country did.
About the Mirage, it’s a bit more complicated than that.
If you look closely, the structure of the Lavi has only general similarity with the F-16’s.
I counted 7 upper “holes” and 5 lower “holes” in the Lavi, while only 6 upper ones in the F-16 and 5 lower ones.
It can’t be more than that, becuase of the fact that the wings of the Lavi are way down, much more than the F-16’s.
GoldenDragon, apologize or I’ll report this to the webmaster.
Here is a better pic of the Lavi’s prototype.
Watch how the structure of tail is similar too.
