LOL, and I thought I’m the only idiot wasting notebooks for airplanes design…;)
That’s what I call the Shachatz, a two seater trainer with limited A-A and A-G capabilities. It’s canard delta and is powered by a single F404 engine.
I’d like to hear all the comments you have:)

I don’t think it has the PL8, at least not in Pakistan. After all, the PL8 is the Israeli Phyton-3, and Israel and China must have a kind of agreement not to sell it to any country Israel would object.

From what time is that picture?
You can see that it’s about 1994 by the Kfir C7 in the background.

Not really, the cockpits are extremely different.

The 2000 looks like a greater improvment.

Another upgrade which isn’t mentioned much is the Mig-21-2000 of the IAI.

McDD objected to this upgrade, because it was told to reach the abilities of the F/A-18C she was trying to market then.
The Super Phantom also had super cruise abilty.

An excellent view of the PW1120. All pictures were taken at Le Bourget at 1987.
BTW, anyone was there and has photos?

The PW1120 is a sub model of the F100. It shares 70% of its parts with the F100. It has nearly the same diameter as the J-79, but it’s shorter, lighter, stronger and more fuel efficient. Two were installed in one Israeli phantom that was named “Super Phantom” and was offered as part of the original Kurnass-2000 program.
When the Lavi, the only fighter plane that used that engine, was cancelled, the offer fell because the PW1120 wasn’t produced anymore.
